We lost our dear Tucker in July, 2017. He was a tremendous spirit and devoted member of Team Gallo Gold and will be missed far beyond words. We were truly blessed to have Tucker as a member of our family and field companion.

This athletic competitor accepted challenges and took risks with skill. Tucker was a methodical companion and brilliant team player in all environments - land, water, and hearth.  He was commited to task and a very quick study with training and advanced level concepts.

An excellent marker that showed confidence and desire in his stride, Tucker has proven true to the foundations of his breeding.  He enjoyed training, testing and hunting and was an absolute delight for his amateur trainer. His training program  included "at home" socialization - with human and canine contact being part of his daily life - at home and in the field. As well versed a retriever as one could dare dream of owning.

Having earned his AKC Master Hunter (MH), UKC/HRC Hunting Retriever Champion (HRCH) and Upland Hunter (UH) titles along with several additional awards and accolades. In 2013, he attained a JAM award in the Golden Retriever Club of America's Qualifying Stake. Tucker qualified for the 2015 Master National. Proven in his ability to mesh instinct and instruction, he illustrates the definition of "a gentleman's dog" in the field.  In the Spring of 2017, Tucker joined the HRC 500 Points Club!

Tucker also attained his Working Certificate (WC) and Certificate of Conformation Assessment (CCA). At home and hearth, he was a wonderful and very social member of the family. We were very proud to have Tucker as a such a big part of the Gallo Gold family.
